She was born November 1870 in Lauderdale, Alabama and died Febuary 23, 1945 in Flint, Genessee, Michigan.

 

Married James Alexander Smith on April 27, 1886 in Lauderdale, Alabama. They had 10 children. John Evet Smith, Mary Susan Smith, Robert Lee Smith, Viola Isabelle Smith, Abner Bryan Smith, Grover Cleburn Smith, Bertha Ann Smith, Octavious Smith, Thomas Lafayll Smith, and James Alton Smith.

 

 

My grandma told me when she was a little girl that her grandma Smith crocheted her a beautiful dress. She said she was really good at that kind of thing.
